Technical Visit of Electrical Program Students to BEST Inc.
Students of the Electrical Program within the Department of Electricity and Energy at Balıkesir University Balıkesir Vocational School organized a technical visit on April 13, 2026, to BEST Inc. Transformer Factory, located in the Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone, in order to enhance their professional knowledge and experience.
During the technical visit, students were introduced on-site to transformer production processes and were provided with detailed information about the production line, assembly stages, quality control procedures, and testing systems. Accompanied by expert engineers in the field, the students had the opportunity to observe in practice the theoretical knowledge they had acquired in their courses.
Prior to the visit, students were informed about occupational health and safety rules, and these rules were strictly followed throughout the site visit. Additionally, a presentation was delivered במסגרת the program, providing information about the overall structure of the factory, its production capacity, and its role in the energy sector.
With this technical visit, it was aimed for students to:
- observe production processes on-site,
- become familiar with sectoral applications,
- increase their professional awareness.
Such applied educational activities organized by the Electrical Program are considered to make a significant contribution to reinforcing students’ theoretical knowledge and preparing them as well-equipped individuals for the sector.
