Balıkesir University Balıkesir Vocational School Department of Electricity and Energy organized an important meeting to support students’ professional development and strengthen collaboration with the industry.
On April 6, 2026, a meeting was held במסגרת the cooperation with BEST Inc. Transformer Factory, where the details of the planned technical visit for Electrical Program students were discussed. The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Çıtak and Lecturer Metin Gül on behalf of the Department of Electricity and Energy, and Zafer Mizan, Human Resources Manager of BEST Inc.
During the meeting, the purpose and scope of the technical visit, the visit program, transportation and organizational processes, as well as the occupational health and safety rules that students must follow were discussed in detail.
As a result of the discussions, it was decided to organize a technical visit to BEST Inc. Transformer Factory in order to enable Electrical Program students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience. In this context, students will visit BEST Transformer (Balıkesir Electromechanical Industry Facilities), one of the leading companies in power transformer manufacturing in Türkiye, on April 13, 2026, at 14:00 in Balıkesir.
Students who wish to participate in the technical visit are kindly requested to contact the department administration.
The departure point for participating students will be in front of Balıkesir Vocational School, and it is important that students are present at the specified date and time.
Through this activity, it is aimed that students gain sectoral experience, observe production processes on-site, and increase their professional awareness.
Balıkesir University Department of Electricity and Energy continues to prepare its students for the future in a more equipped manner through industry collaborations and applied educational activities.
