On October 14, 2025, the BAUN Vocational School Electrical and Energy Department Electrical Program Advisory Board meeting was successfully held at 1:00 PM. Important decisions were made at the meeting to improve the quality of education in the department.
Evaluations of the accreditation process emphasized that this process is a positive step for the department and that accreditation will provide a significant advantage to graduates in job applications. To contribute to the department's curriculum, it was decided to add "Professional Ethics" and "Entrepreneurship" courses to the curriculum for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Additionally, a Career Days event was planned for graduating students in the spring semester, in collaboration with BEST Human Resources. It was decided to hold both theoretical and practical training sessions on the transformer donated to the department by BEST.
Within the scope of industrial cooperation, the implementation of a virtual reality (VR)-based wind turbine training application by Ozan KIRCI, training manager from GE, was among the important decisions of the meeting.
These studies will continue to be carried out to improve the quality of education in the department and to ensure that students are better prepared for the industry.
