BASIC OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH TRAINING

The Electrical and Energy Department conducted a Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training to support the professional development of our students and to increase their awareness of occupational health and safety. The training, organized by the Balıkesir University Occupational Health and Safety Coordination Office under Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety, covered topics such as general legislation, health issues, technical risks, and protection methods. Students who successfully completed the 16-hour training program received their certificates of participation. This training aims to help them gain a more conscious and safe work culture in both their internships and industry applications. Our department will continue its efforts to ensure that our students are well-equipped individuals who possess both technical knowledge and awareness of occupational safety.
